Two Candlelight Vigils to Honor Two Utah Law Enforcement Officers Who Were Shot

THE CITY OF EAGLE MOUNTAIN WILL HOLD A CANDLELIGHT VIGIL MONDAY NIGHT, TO HONOR SLAIN UTAH COUNTY SHERIFF'S SARGEANT CORY WRIDE -- WHO WAS SHOT TO DEATH, JUST OUTSIDE THEIR COMMUNITY -- AND INJURED DEPUTY, GREG SHERWOOD.

A SIMILAR REMEMBRANCE -- IN SPANISH FORK, SUNDAY NIGHT -- DREW MORE THAN 200 MOURNERS.

GINA SHERWOOD SPOKE AT THAT EVENT, SAYING HER HUSBAND IS CONTINUING HIS RECOVERY, AFTER BEING SHOT IN THE HEAD.

FUNERAL SERVICES FOR SARGEANT WRIDE WILL BE HELD WEDNESDAY, AT UTAH VALLEY UNIVERSITY.

HIS WIDOW ALSO SPOKE AT THE SUNDAY NIGHT GATHERING, CALLING FOR THE COMMUNITY TO FORGIVE THE SHOOTER -- WHO WAS ALSO KILLED -- AND HIS FAMILY, IN ORDER TO BEGIN TO HEAL.
