A Utah judge has refused to lower bail, for an Orem man accused of killing his wife, to collect $878,000 in life insurance money.
The judge rejected Conrad Truman's defense attorneys' request, to reduce the bail from $1-million.
Truman, 31, is being held in the Utah County Jail. His next court appearance is scheduled for the end of October.
Police spent months gathering evidence against Truman. He was finally arrested nine months after his wife Heidi was shot to death.
