Boy, 6, Jumps From Moving Car to Save Grandpa

A 6-YEAR-OLD HOOPER BOY IS BEING CALLED A HERO -- AFTER JUMPING FROM THE MOVING CAR, HIS GRANDFATHER WAS DRIVING -- WHEN THE 63-YEAR-OLD MAN SUFFERED A DIABETIC ATTACK, AND BLACKED OUT.

THE TWO WERE THE ONLY ONES IN THE VEHICLE, CHRISTMAS AFTERNOON, WHEN RON VEDAA PASSED OUT, WHILE DRIVING SLOWLY.

HIS GRANDSON, SULLY, UNBUCKLED...OPENED THE CAR DOOR...JUMPED OUT...AND RAN TO GET A RESIDENT OUT OF HIS HOME -- JUST BEFORE GRAMPA SLOWLY CRASHED.

THE MAN WAS NOT SERIOUSLY INJURED -- AND NO OTHER VEHICLES WERE INVOLVED.

VEDAASAYS HE'LL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL TO HIS GRANDSON, FOR HIS QUICK-THINKING AND BRAVERY.
